Hi all !
I m a french ww2 airsofter, and I wondered how large were mp40 pouches ? I ve seen nylon one which seems to be very large, and I wondered if UMP 45 magazines would fit in it.
I have a FJ uniform, but still no MP40, and I have an ump45 so I would like to know if my magazines would get into the ammo pouches.

no, I'm afraid your ump mags won't fit in the mp40 pouches. The mp-40 fired a 9mm round, while the ump fires a .45 caliber round, so the ump mags will be too large to fit in the 9mm pouches. Sorry.

do one of you guys tryed to put a TOP MP40 magasine in the asahi mp40 ?

I doubt they would work. Gordak has both. Perhaps he can answer that question for you.

Amazing WWII weekend frenchguy!!
That looks like it was a blast!
What really impresses me is the length you guys went to on accuracy- not just in impressions, but the whole squad movement and tactics- well done!
I would like to share these links with the local Airsoft group here in Colorado where I am. They are beginning to really get involved with the WWII impressions and I think these would really insprire them.

Thank you guys ! Well, our german size will improve with a couple of ASAHI MP40 and a lot of fallschirmjager uniforms. Our next play is in april, but we will try to have one earlier, it s easyer in france than in the us to gather all our players, the country is really smaller  . |

Tres manufique! Mes Ami, Bon Photgraphe!!!! Absolutely terrific shots and wonderful impressions. I imagine in France even 60 years later it's hard to get folks to play Germans!
