My main impression is HG division and generic Luftwaffe field division. I got a set of very nice Sturmpionier pouches for christmas and I really like them, they are great for carrying pretty much everything I need. My question heer (haha pun) being would it be possible for a member of one of the units I reenact to carry the Sturmpionir pouches? I have read a few things about panzer grenadiers in these units having them but I havent found any pictures so I'm sorta on the edge about wearing them to a larger event.

I believe that even though the standard infantryman would not have been issued Sturmpionier pouches, they may have been worn by the generic infantry if they could get their hands on them. It certainly isn't correct if you go by the textbooks, but either was wearing Panzer coveralls if you were in the infantry.
It's Flaggrantly Wrong to wear those, but it probably wouldn't stop me if I were you.

In wartime soldiers in all armies in every theater do what works, makes sense and is available. This item seems quite logical and practical and not at all distracting.

My impression is pioneer, and I wear the side pouches at pretty much every event. They are incredibly useful. I would find it difficult now to go without all that storage.
