Excellent work, as always.
From what I've read, the Pattern 14 was used by the Britsh as a sniper rifle until the No. 4 Enfield based sniper rifle became available. Also read that the last US troops to carry the M1917 Enfield in WWII were the chemical mortar (4.2 inch mortar) companies.

Thank you! It is interesting to me which type of rifle 2nd ID of AEF had been used during WW1.

in spite of most people thinking the M1903 A1 was the primary Infantry rifle for US troops in WW1, in fact many (including our famous SGT York) were armed with the enfield. It appears you converted an actual lower stock (if not, you sure made it look great). If it is an actual stock I am surprised with the finger grooves that it was wide enough to facilitate the VSR magazine. Again fantastic effort

It is actual real stock, and you are right, it is not easy to accomodare magazine in the finger grooves area, but it is possible. The stock measurements approximately like No4 enfield stock, so I worry more about that it will stick out from stock bottom. But we will see.

Fantastic build! this is really inspiring, specially because the fledgling Philippine Army was equipped with this weapon during the Japanese invasion and capaign for Bataan.
