Would it be possible? I would think it would be, simply by sanding the inner edge more than a 6mm. Opinions? Anyone tried this???

Rhop is an approach to hop up that is a departure from the usual approach. Normally there is a nub covered by a thin rubber coating. As the BB passes it the conventional hop up causes back spin on the BB to off set the rounds normal drop. The argument is that there is a tiny gap around the BB as it comes in contact with the hop up nub. With R hop there is a rubber "rug" of sorts that causes friction forcing the BB to spin backward. There is a ton of discussions about it in a myriad of airsoft forums. I have heard everything from HOAX to best thing since hop up itself. Claims of far greater FPS, range and increased accuracy. Based on what I have witnessed first hand there does seem to be noteworthy improvements when RHOP is installed well at least in the guns I watched and fired. None demonstrated the fantastic, over the top incredible claims many people make but there does seem to be something to it.
As for an 8mm gas powered gun. As always with that subject I am going to simply say...Why bother? If you're lucky it will go from horrible to just sort of horrible. What can I say, I'm a hater.
