I recently picked up a bunch of King Arms midcap M14 mags for my BAR, but they wont seem to feed all that well at all in either my M1 conversion or my BAR. Any tips on breaking them in and getting them feeding reliably?

Lube them. My M1 clips when new would cause my Marushin to simply cycle its bolt and not fire a BB. I put silicon oil on them and they feed great now.

I have had excellent luck with king arms and MAG brand m14s. If they are new, lubrication shouldn't be your issue but certainly can't hurt. The fact that they aren't working in either M14 you have certainly indicates the challenge is most likely with the mags but...having challenges with all of them seems odd?

Any tips on breaking them in and getting them feeding reliably? They don't work in any m14. They won't lock into the magazine well, and they also don't feed because the tube thing too narrow. I took apart a lot of these and I could never get them to work in my M1, you should try to return them.

I have to admit I have not specifically had experience with the KING ARMS M14 mid caps. I recently bought 20 MAG M14 midcaps and have been delighted with them. I shortened a bunch of them for use in my Garands and now see that MAG offers a stubby version of theirM14 mid caps identical to what I converted. These stubby M14 mags hold 60 rounds or so and work great. they protrude about 3/4 of an inch below my converted Garands You can buy the stubby mags and regular 110 mid caps in cases and they are a pretty good deal.
The only KING ARMS mags I had werelow caps for M16s and M14s and they worked great. I also discovered that some of the thumb activated speed loaders squeaze the BBs in all caw caw and that causes trouble. I switched speed loaders and the same mags that were giving me trouble worked great.

NONE of my King Arms MAG M14 midcaps worked in ANY of my M14s.....a UTG M14, CYMA M14, CART M14, or either of my TSD M14s....I have no idea, they must had a BAD batch

Sounds like king arms mags are off somehow. try filing the front or rear knob on one of the magazines and see if the realignment makes a difference. Mags can be very persnickety and a tiny missalignment is all it takes for misfeeds.
