I own Several pairs of reproduction goggles and would not suggest using them. They are old and pretty fagile plastic, and are only designed for pretection from sand. A BB and less than 50 feet will break them easily.

 ?? what is wrong with a normal towel, a normal can opener, a normal scarf, and normal ear muffs? I mean hell when I participated in a couple of civil war reenactments they didnt even get down to that kind of detail. I mean seriously... Werhmacht earmuffs? ...not to sound rude, but that's the difference between a real reenactor and a "FARB". The Real Reenactor will always come in 100% period correct clothing / gear / personals..............including Werhmacht earmuffs. The FARB will usually show up, wearing earmuffs he bought at the local TARGET, drinking a soda out of the can, and wondering why his fellow Soldat spent money on Werhmacht earmuffs. That's why the real reenactor will get asked to participate in video shoots for the History Channel as well as video games. Rock on Mauser! I'm proud of your conviction! Keep up the authensity! |

And honestly, this is going to get like reenacting someday, and it's always fun to get the bits and pieces now even just for the hell of it.
