Hey, folks. I was wondering, is there any way to mod Thompson or Grease Gun mags or Straight MP5 mags to fit into MP40? The main fault of MP40 is lack of high cap mags. I looked at pics of ICS M3 mags and MP40 mags and they look VERY similar. Any thoughts/ideas?

You could possibly use either the m3 or thompson mags internals to convert the mp40 mags to highcaps. Only problem is the mp40 mags are thinner that the other two mags, which means you would have to trim the internal walls to fit. Shouldnt be a big job to do. I prefer midcaps though. I use 7 total 110rnd mags with my thompson, roughly the same as a mp40 set up with the double mag pouches, and I hardly ever run out of ammo in small skirmishes. I would just carry extra mags in a musette bag or in your case a breadbag, and grab them durring a lul, but thats just my preference.

there was an article somewhere here about converting AGM MP 40 mags to hi-caps using Marui UZI mags.
