Go to: MVPA.org and follow their links. It's the home page the Military Vehicle Preservation Association. Ebay also has listings for vintage military vehicles with great regularity. WW2 vintage vehicles in good shape are probably a great deal more expensive then you realize. I was offered $12,000.00 for my Jeep (1943) and one of our local club members spent well over $20,000 restoring his. members.aol.com/darryld/wwii-jeep/index.htm We (our local club) have a 1942 White (it's a brand like Chevrolet) armored cars that was purchased for a mere $40,000.00 but I also saw a real nice 2/12 ton GMC truck for only $6,000.00 (which I should have bought) The days of cheap WW2 vehicles are long gone! Naturally if they aren't fully autrhentic you can buy them for much much less.

Get a Kubelwagen. When my sister turns 16, she will get a old VW Car used by a hippie. I will get an old VW Car used by a German General .

Great picture, are you in it? I have heard and read mixed reviews of the chang jiang bikes, Some people have had some major reliability issues (burnt pistons) Hopefully they have improved with time, It mentions improved rings on the web site. Do you own one?
I have severel old Jawa (Czech) motorcycles and I see they also make a replica Jawa... how strange.

I think the Kubble wagon kits or a commando car is the cheapest route. The prices I saw for the motorbikes was around 6-7k

The Kubble is a good vehicle if you plan to use it just for street driving. If you are planning to possible take it out on the battle field probally need to think again. The Kuble has a small engine an no four wheel drive, also the body is made out of just stamped sheet metal. If you plan to take something out into the field try the old dodge's or the good ol willys.

Baja bugs seem to work pretty good offroad....Your chances of busting ass through the woods in an airsoft game are slim to none ;D You might get stuck in the mud though I could see that. Doesn't that add to the fun and realism though

Of course, who doesn't love pushing a car out of the mud while getting pegged by little flying BB's?

There is a place about 100 miles or so north of me. Just over the border in Wisconsin that sells tanks with leaded up barrels. They had Shermans the last time I drove by. I wanted to stop but we were in hurry.
