So, after reading in my deeper cartriage pocket thread about trying to top feed, I went to work. I had already tried to top feed by hand, but the location and nature of the double feed (instead of single feed, like most gbb pistols) doesnt allow for more than one BB to be placed in, without the previous popping out and rolling pre-maturely into the chamber. So I tried to place the speed loader adapter into that area, and it slipped in nicely. Only problem is, the speed loader would need to be filipped over to fit in that position. So I did.
This photo shows the positioning of the adapter. I needed to shave off the notches on the speedloader, and cut and bend up the bottom of the alignment housing to get the adapter to fit flush against the speedloader nozzle. After fitting, I glued and taped the adapter in place, so it doesn't pop off durring loading.
This photo shows how much of the tip needs to be cut off for the adapter to go into the feed space far enough. If you don't cut this part off, you will have BB's pouring onto the top of your mag, not into it.
Lastly, You may need to tip your gun slightly forward to get the BB's to feed smoothly through the speedloader. I tried this in my gun, and got 10 clean and quick reloads of my rifle! I actually modded my bolt catch, so that it can go all the way back, exposing the fill nozzle on the mag! Now I don't need to take my mag out for anything! I can load BB's every 10 shots, and propane every 30ish shots, all from the top! No chances of dropping and damaging mags while reloading.
Only downside is that I need to tip my gun over after reloading to dump out the extra 2 BB's that fall out of the speedloader. Maybe adding a tab in the speedloader nozzle will prevent this.
