This is a real quick question for you know it alls that want to help out a teenager.
Did the germans use the GEW98 for a sniper rifle in ww1 as well as ww2? Or did they put a scope on their K98?

Silencer, I was reading your avatar about little known ww2 stories, and because this thread seems dead I thought I have another story to tell. Did you know that Adolf Hitler, after he had taken France, was unable to get his picture taken at the top of the Eiffel Tower because the French Resistance blew up the elevator to the top. It is regarded as the first act of the resistance after german occupation began. If you have ever seen the picture of Hitler in front of the Tower, across the lake from it, this is why. He was unable to get to the top.

Only place that has ever "had" an airsoft version of the G43 is the ever popular scammers wwiiguns.com Hell...they have every WWII weapon in an airsoft model, but try and order one and see what you get besides ripped off and aggrivated.

That G43 they have though looks very nice. How exactly do they scam you? Do you never receive your item, or is i damaged when it arrives? I see that almost every gun there says "used" in its descrpition, below the name of the model.

Getting back on topic before the thread got sidetracked so there is one first hand report of getting burned by WW2 airsoft on a 1911. What were the particulars of that. How long ordered, how paid for, what happened? and what are some other examples. As ardently as we dish WW2 airsoft (which may be perfectly deserved) I want to know about first hand negative experiences.

I'm with John (2nd bat) I would like to hear of anyone who has actually had experience good or bad with WWIIGuns.com. There was a long story a while back on Arnies about how WWIIguns, Tokyohobby, Renegade Recon and a few other companys where all one and the same and all very secretive about who actually runs them.

WW11guns and Tokyohobby may very well ne horrible retailers but all I hear is third hand (if that) reports that they are horrible. I want specifics. Arnies essentially destroyed them to their readers but I suspect a rather insideous alterior motive and want to get to the bottom of it all. Is WW2guns as horrible as everyone continues to suggest with their rubber stamp indictments? Provide details and first hand experiences please. Renegade recon airsoft information site is dead and Arnies very effectively knocked them out of the game. Always struck me as a bit self serving for Arnies at a time when Renegade recon was growing so rapidly and had noticeable momentum. I liked the site and miss it. I never saw anything that appeared to be an endorsement or affiliation between RR and Tokyo Hobby, WW2 airsoftguns etc.

I think we should all chip in a few dollars and do a test by ordering something from ww2guns or tokyohobby. Or we can all purchase something very small like some bb's or gas and see if they don't pull through or not.

Nice idea, bbbbuuuttt.
I doubt they'd ruin their reputation over a 10 dollar bag of BBs, I think they're smarter than that.
Say we did all pitch in a few bucks and we actually got the item, who would keep it?

Is it just me or doesnt almost every gun on that site says it was used in small print? It definetly looks like a scam, I just wish their guns didnt look so good.

It's amazing isn't it? We all seem to just knnnnnooooowwwww their a rip off and everyone seems quick to jump in and say so but when I ask for specifics I don't get any. Hmmmmmm.
Japan at one time had several WW2 guns in production and WW2 guns seems to specialize in finding and stocking them as they can get them. Of course they're used no one makes most of the models anymore.

My best friend was ripped off by them, he sent them 285 dollars in a bank to bank transfer (the only way you can order form them) and got nothing for a year and a half, after he threatened lawsuits, and actually bought a plane ticket to Japan, they began sending him his stuff. John, if you want to try buying fromt hem, go ahead, all of the TokyoHobby, WWIIGuns, all those sites are on my permanent "Dont Mess with them" list
