I decided after seeing mixed to poor reviews on the Red Fire Mosin Nagant, to build my own. I have worked on many airsoft guns, but I have never done a custom build before, so there will be some trial and error on this project for me. I am using a real steel Mosin and a VSR / BAR-10 parts to build the gun. I am just getting started on this project and will post more pics as the project progresses.   |

Here are some picture updates on the project. The biggest challenges to come is getting the VSR air cylinder to fit inside the Mosin barrel, and getting the correct bolt placement of the Mosin to fit on the VSR. VSR bolt with the Mosin safety attached on the end.   VSR trigger placement  Cut down the inside to make room for the VSR parts (not 100% cut down yet)  |

Awesome effort thus far. you will discover (if you haven't already that facilitating the required room for the VSR parts will leave tour Mosin stock fairly thin along the walls but by applying some resin glass you can create a very strong sidewall. keep up the good work and keep us informed.
