That's a cool project. Seems like if you had a PPsh stick magazine (like one from the ST version), and a boneyard AGM MP-40, you could take it to any decent machinist and they could look at your pics and put it together for you. If you can translate that to engineering drawings and mass-produce, you'd have a hot seller. Maybe 10-20 if you were lucky. Good luck. You'd have the first proper German PPsh-41.

Luckily I have three of the S&T stick mags I had bought back when they still made them (As far as I know, they discontinued them) and have an AGM MP40 with plenty of mags, so this project just made sense to me. I used to work in a machinists shop drawing up things to be made, so with any luck, I can make this happen with little issue. I can probably find someone locally to make these, I'd have them make a few extras to make it worth their while, and if there's interest, would be happy to share the CAD files or sell the finished converters outright.

I absolutely think there is a viable market for this product! If your set up cost are fairly minimal I would say go for it and agree you would sell at least a couple dozen right off the bat.

BTW, you have to make sure the bb path is all lined up and therein lies the rub.

BTW, you have to make sure the bb path is all lined up and therein lies the rub. That is the problem I'm seeing in this conversion. I've got some rough CAD drawings done, just need to fine tune to work with the airsoft rifles I have on hand. I would also have to have the mag release button on the other side of the adapter because of the MP40 mag needing to be rotated so the feed holes match up. I'm going to be out of town for the holidays, but when I get back, I'll try and market this to a few local shops and see if they'd be interested in helping make a run of these.
