dose anyone know where to get FJ boots at a reasonable price? Right now I'm using the current U.S. issue speed lace boots they actualy look very similar in my opinion, and I may keep using those if I can't find the boots for cheap.

British jumps boots with no cap non speed laced, many other countries have boots like this that will look the part. I believe Danish are supposed to have some with pebbled grain leather that is the bomb..I wear Magnums because they are comfy.

I didn't notice the speedlace and notches before, agh. Those three you posted are actually more far off than the other link. The leather cut is way off.

I'd rather have that cut then speed laces bro! If you look deeper and longer you will find the right cut with regular lace holes. Personally The boots are not that important to me personally more important to not have blisters on my feet. If you get everything else right and wear some modern non speedlaces boots then you are ahead of most. And for reference for everyone:

Thanks Dan! Unfortunatly I wear a size 10 regular, so those would be too big for me. Could you post more links if you come across the right size?

Great picture Dan. That is my "warm weather" impression...exactly. I am not a fan of wool when it's 90 degrees outside. ;D

I just noticed but from the look of the photo those boots look textured, were all of the FJ boots textured because I think I saw some that were smooth textured somewhere..... ??
