I'm trying to locate matching tunics and trousers, either field-grey (Stone grey) or green Heer uniform impressions. I'm having trouble locating a reliable source and I figured a direct answer from you professionals would do me much good.
I didn't know where to post this kind of thread, kind of confused with the selling and trading thread that had the word, ''Impression items'' sorry if this is the wrong section!
So far I've found a M36 stone-grey trousers, where do I find the stone grey tunic? if there is one?
I am also interested in finding a late-war M44 grey tunic.
I found these but do they match?
M36 Field-grey Wool Jacket (Feldbluse)-
M36 Stone-grey Trousers (Steingrau Tuchhose)

There isn't a stone gray feldbluse. Just trousers. And I believe steingrau was used mainly for drill/formation and feldgrau was used in combat.

The trouser shade doesn't have to be the exact shade if the tunic either. There isn't a set color of field gray, just a general color. My trousers and tunic aren't the same shade.

The M44 wouldn't be the way to go if you want accuracy. It was issued late in the war and only issued to a few units. But, if you really want the M44, I would suggest buying the trousers and tunic separate. It's easier to get your size, and the stuff should be better quality. I recommend Gavin militaria. It's affordable and good quality from what I hear. But if you get the eBay item, it could work, but I don't know the quality.

This might not be a terrible repro, it looks pretty decent actually. But, I would recommend an earlier model if you want more accuracy.

But hey, I try not to be a stitch nazi. This is airsoft, not reenacting. You could get this, it looks decent.

But you probably could get the trousers tailored, but it would be easier to buy the two (tunic and trousers) separate.

Understood, thanks for the critical feedback, much appreciated. Now, I must rest my eyes for the grueling work ahead in a couple of hours... ugh.

The M44 tunic, regardless that it's a late war issued item that very few units received in large numbers, is a poor looking tunic for anyone that has the "modern" well fed body type. The bigger you are the worse it looks. If you're 5'8" and 140 lbs it looks fine. If you're 5'11 and 190 lbs, not so much; no different than Ike jackets or British P37 or P40 tunics.

Yet they are pretty rare and rather fashionable lol at least the tunic is. Thanks for the history lesson, I didn't know that.

I saw a stone grey wool M36 field uniform at Hikishop. Prices are good, Shipping is usually what gets you. Quality, I cant vouch for. I have heard it is good but sizes run smaller. I am going to get their HBT M40 tunic and M43 trousers for summer. I'll do a review of the quality and service when I do that, it will be soon.

Not really sure, but I think they did use a stone grey tunic for a more formal uniform while field gray was the standard color for the field uniform. Of course, the actual shade of "field grey" varied a lot.
