I have a 1960's encyclopedia on ww2. And I found a picture of what looks like a panzer commander with a dot camo cap!!! I will try to scan it and get your opinions. ;D

Officers sometimes had things custom made that were not normal issue. Falls under very rare. Gordak mentioned an officers cap sewn out of FJ cloth not to long ago in a thread far far away.
