Dragunov to G43?

So I work on a computer all day, and right now we are in our slow time. I process Financial Aid & it is very slow while the semesters are in progress. So that gives me lots of time to look at WWII kit, Airsoft stuff, troll the forums and the facebook marketplaces, etc. 

Yesterday I had an interesting idea: Since the Dragunov & the G43 magazines look pretty similar, would it be possible to convert a Dragunov into a G43? 

I searched the forums & noticed that someone was trying to convert a Dragunov into an SVT, but was having trouble due to the fact that the traditional Dragunov houses the motor in the pistol grip, which is incorrect for almost any rifle in WWII. But what if you weren't concerned with the motor because you're looking at a GBB Dragunov? Both WE Tech and AIM make a GBB version, & I think one could be modded with either a reproduction or a fabricated stock. The only other thing you really need would be to shorten the barrel, flip the charging handle & replace with a correct one, and get some correct sights & a "flash hider"/barrel nut.

Jay over at the UK forum made a g43 out of the gbb dragunov. But i think the last update was that he couldn't get it to cycle properly...

that is true but they would look better then svd mags imo

but thats for aeg, somebody already made a g43 out of a m14 which is also partly why i brought it up as well

SVD would work far better than an M14.
