While looking for other things, I came across this site. www.collectorsarmoury.com/Since they have the basic weapon already built, I would think modifications could be made to one of their weapons and turn it into an AirSoft shooting weapon. It would save a lot of build time in getting the external features to look correct as they would be "right" from the start. The internals would have to be modified/changed to install the AirSoft mechanisms. I have no idea if anyone has tried this before but it was just an idea on my part.

their replicas in many cases are more expensive then demilled actual guns and are frequently solid throughout making the hollowing out process more difficult and time consuming then using an actual gun. For many of the replicas the shape or demensions are not compatible with any existing airsoft internals making a marriage between the two either impossible or way to challenging to justify. Things that seem so logically easy....typically aren't. Thanks for the thought however.
