Not dissing you at all! It just brings up memories of my first impression in progress. You'll get there!

I guess impression is a more appropriate term than load out. But honestly, I'm glad to see you got your impression under way!

If Gavins website doesn't work for me soon I'll have to get Hessen's tunic.

Loadout can mean very different things. My "loadout" fills the back of an SUV... a squad's worth of uniforms, gear, and small arms, plus other sundries. All a matter of perspective... and just how badly you've been infected by the sweet sickness that is this hobby.
You're off to a great start, can't wait to see your completed impression!

I can't wait to complete the impression too.I never owned anything like this MP40 before.I'm used to BB rifles and spring pistols (which I all broke by accident).I never thought I would ever jump into the hobby but since there's WW2 events I couldn't pass that off :)I would like to get into reenacting but right now I don't have the budget for a super accurate impression and guns. For airsofting I will do the best impression that I can and will enjoy airsoft combat and seeing other players impressions and guns.

Remember to use good bbs with it, I recommend goldenball brand. You can buy a bag of 16000 for $40 at airsoft megastore.

They're decent. Not as high quality as other brands, but they work and won't muck up your gun too bad.

Cool!On an unrelated note,I found this cool (but expensive) airsoft MP41 with an awesome wood crate with sling, extra mags, and MP40 pouches! Its pretty cool but it be cheaper just to get the stuff individually.Plus the Wehrmacht were never issued with it,just smaller armies like Rumania. It looks so cool though! For that price I would just get a STG44 or MG42 www.amazon.com/SRC-Airsoft-Electric-LIMITED-EDITION/dp/B00H18SKIS
