I was wondering to what extent was the MG-15 used in WWII? Was it used only as an aircraft gun or was it also issued to ground troops?
I have become very intrigued with this weapon and I was thinking of making my own for airsoft use, but I would like to know it's role in WWII before I add it to my long list of custom jobs, hence this thread.

if ya want them they have the plans for it on the blaster builders forum...seems lucasfilm made them into some sort of blasters for sandtroopers....but anyway, might be seen more in luftwaffe ground units.....heres the panzerfaust entry for it...just scroll down to it. www.geocities.com/Augusta/8172/panzerfaust5.htm#mg15

given their aircraft use,i'd say that LW guys would have the access to the majority of them.given the small size of the reciever, this would probably be an easier gas gun coversion then an aeg.unless you're planning on using a uzi motor/mech combo.
