Considering the references to Pennsylvania I believe it is there. I have seen pictures, the place was made to recreate the trenches of one of the battles, I just forget which one. www.great-war-assoc.org/Schedule.html

Imperial Germany. The unit is one of the most authentic ones out there complete with our own dugout with sleeping quarters :)I don't have everything but many members are generous to loan.

Just pondering here, after watching The Great War series on Youtube, in some respects the war on the Eastern Front might be more practical for Airsoft. With a lot more space the front moved around much more than the Western Front.

Very much so!More fluid operations to replicate. An early war German impression will be enough. The problem would be obtaining a kit for the Imperial Russians. The only place I know is a Russian site that sells WWI Russian and German repro (http://www.schuster.ru/).

Well it doesn't matter how the battle actually flowed, it matter what people will choose to replicate. Theoretically, if we wanted to be realistic, there should be WAY more PTO games as the engagements were closer and similar to that of how airsoft is played but people want to play as Germany, as England and they want to be units that weren't in the Pacific, FJ, paratroopers(well they were kind of a thing for a short amount of time) red devils etc.
When ww1 airsoft becomes a thing I can bet there will be more Western front impressions then Eastern front. Not because they prefer slow engagements (although maybe some do I don't know)but because they want to be America, England, France. Maybe we'll even see some colonial impressions and French Foreign Legion.
Granted this is more of an attitude I see in the US, France has basically blown all of this out haha as we have seen from droop and zam

Lol PTO would be grand!I was planning on doing an IJA kit.More than ever I would love to see Finnish front events as that would be very doable. As for WWI Western Front,I could see how it would work. For me no-mans-land should have some obstacles to help even the odds for better survival. If the line can't be broken then the attacking force must retreat.Stosstruppen teams would be very suitable because they used minimal gear and used items like daggers, clubs, submachine guns, ect.I think there should be mock-up wire for realism and for opposing teams to cut them for the main force to scramble in. I have so many ideas and scenarios for WWI airsofting. It will be epic

Not going to lie, since I have a decent amount of this anyway, I was thinking about getting a WWI Scottish Black Watch impression going. Live up to the "Ladies from Hell" moniker the Germans gave them.
