OK, I know that the Heer and the SS hated one another alot. Do you guys think the same is true about the FJ and the SS?

I'm not sure about their opinions, that is a rather harsh generalization, but I would say there was a great bit of competition between the two. The FJ thought they were the toughest especially after Crete, and the SS always thought that they were the elite of the elite. I don't think they hated eachother, but I'm sure they were rivalring for the top spot.

Im going with Spitfire, I think the SS thought they were perfect and were the best, while the FJ thought they were stronger and had it harder than the rest, While the Heer I think fought the hardest and were the elite, but just didnt say anything.

hmmm,
THere were so many more SS men than FJ, I would have to say the FJ were steps above the SS. However FJ quality deteriorated alot as the war went on. The ss started at a lower teir and thus their quality suffered less in the late period.
But by and far FJ is more elite. -Gordak

They did hate each other.
Perfect example is when the beaten up but proud Fallschirmjager Rgt. 6 was drawn under the kommand of Ostendorf's (i believe he was the Kmdt) 17.SS
The FJ were ordered to take part in the attack againts Caranten even though they were severly depleted and tired.
Nontheless both were good soldiers, as well as Heer soldaten
