Hey guys I have a technical question for you: I have a Marushin M1 Carbine 8mm GBB. As you might know, it has the wrong magazine to be WW2-correct... And its very hard to find spare magazines and ammo. Now I was wondering if its possible to convert it to a 6mm BB? By changing the barrel and magazine?
Thanks

I wouldn't bother trying to convert it to 6mm, it would be way too hard. I only had one magazine as well but the few times I used it (only lasted a year), it was very reliable and the 8mm bb's made it quite accurate and even though the fps was very low (around 250fps with HFC134a), it shot through most brush which the 6mm MP40's and STG44's couldn't do. As far as magazines and ammo goes, I couldn't find any magazines but on one website which they cost about $65 last time I checked. Not worth it in my opinion haha. Matrix and Goldenball 8mm bb's are better quality than Marushin's, and they're around 2,000 bb's for $10 where Marushin was 500 bb's for over $10. Remember to only use HFC134a/duster gas with Marushin guns, HFC22/green gas is what broke mine. It was by far the best shooting airsoft gun I ever had, too bad Marushin made it out of playdough.

Thanks Marushin makes a 6mm version, which is apparently more reliable than the 8mm. You can find it on redwolf. They also have spare mags and plenty of ammo.
