I am going to do an italian impression and was wondering a few things.
1)Would it be ok to wear a m40 German uniform if I wore it under an italian camo smock? 2)Would it be authentic to use a 98k in a battle? 3)I know how all the germans had helmets but would it be ok just to wear a italian camo m43 hat? 4)And what kind of boots did they wear?

1) Unfortunately, no. The uniforms were too different. I use a Swiss jacket, and Cpt.Zak I think has 1 left. Italian camo over the M40 would just make it look like a HJ uniform. 2) Yes, a K98 would be fine. The only Italian airsoft gun is the M34 beretta by WA. 3) The camo hat was used by german troops after the armistace, and it just wouldn't look right on an Italian uniform. You could get an Italian helmet for pretty cheap though. 4) Italian officers wore jackboots (basically the same as germans) but www.civilwarboots.com has a wonderful reproduction of Italian 1912 boots, that was worn by mountain troops, and I believe by infantry, too. As far as Airsoft reenacting goes, you could basicaly go with whatever you want at first. You really should try to get it as accurate as possible, or at least look-alike the real thing (Like what I'm attempting), but if you just want to drape yourself in camo, that's fine. If you have any questions, pm me, and I would be more than happy to help.

Well I suppose with the Lufftwaffe Italian camo smock, you could pull off a convincing Xa MAS or Folgore paratrooper with a little modification. But you would need the correct headgear. What kit are you aiming for, becuase all branches wore different uniforms.

There will be three me spitfire and that guy that went to the last event as an italian That would be "Bunker Bob" of the Italian SS. Using a K98 as an Italian would be acceptable. Better than using a Tommy Gun.
