I am thinking of getting an m40 Italian Tunic and making it look like a m1937 tunic but the thing about it is i need to dye the back part of the collar black can anyone give me advice on dying the wool if it is possible

You would have to remove the collar from the jacket and sew it back on to do that. Another way would be to sew black wool over the collar now. I think the later would be easier to do.
