Hello again. One of my recent shotgun mags for the M1 Garand conversions had it's follower fall off for whatever reason. I had this happen to one of my sniper rifle mags as well. I tried pushing the follower down and keeps doing it. Does any one know a good way to fix these? I know they are only 6 bucks on Evike, but this brings me down to only 5 mags at the moment and 6 bucks down the drain. Thank you!

A tiny dab of ABS glue is your friend here but do so outside the mag so as to insure it doesn't stick inside the mag as it drys.. From there reinserting the spring in these shotties is a bitch but I'm sure you can manage it. Hint barely losen the halves enough to get it back down past the catch and then press together and tighten. One of those processes where three hands would be really nice! Incidently do your shotties feed okay without the mounting a small ABS tab up front? I find a small tapered tab works wonders for me. Without it I get inconsistent feeds!

I have a ton of those mags for my M1's and I havnt had any feeding issues with the ones that the tabs have came out of. I actually have been purposefully removing them, due to my belief that by chance it could pop loose while the mag is in the gun and jam the nozzle and tappet plate. Not saying that there is any real chance it could happen, but I'd rather make that a 0% chance

Looks like I'm adding ABS glue to my shopping list...
I was supposed to add tabs to the front of the mag? Never had a feeding problem with just cutting an indent into the mag.

Interesting. I find the tab keeps the spacing correct and helps to hold the mag in. Maybe a production step I didn't need to do!

I thought the whole process was just sawing off the top part and cutting out notches in the front and back.

If they work okay without the spacer tab up front, wonderful! The depth has to be quite precise on this tab so maybe avoiding it altogether might be a good thing but I find I need it on mine for the clip to stay secure and feed consistently.
