Apologies for the gaffe I forgot one has to register to view that site's content (I believe). Some snippets from the thread - excuse the transposed paragraphs - cellphone editing (on my cellphone anyway) sucks... I wrote some of the following: At this point it's been crafted to take Lonex internals - ROF is about 1200 rpm at 400fps. Being a RS gun from muzzle recuperator to buttstock - she's as tough and well built as a panzer (Sherman?) tank. Interesting trivia - she was one of many German ordnance pieces that were smuggled out of wartime Germany in the chaos following the Nazi capitulation by agents for the fledgling Israeli state thus not only does she have German ordnance stamps but also is stamped with the Star of David and used by Israelis troops during the their fight, first against the British in Palestine and then against the Arab states. Ironic to see the Star next to the Nazi Eagle but somehow fitting too. She obviously has battle service simply by virtue of her incredibly low S/N My new baby: A real (complete with matching numbers W WII MG34 - modded to airsoft. Blueing still partially intact and a Serial number of (unbelievably)'999'. Incredible piece owned by a collector of RS machine guns (licensed) with a collection of guns that is truly mind-blowing. Don't ask what thia cost - the gun itself maintains some historic provenance due to it's low S/N.

What a beauty and cool history behind it. The NAZI and Israeli markings are so ironic.
