I just got my WW2 stuff and had some time to take a few pic's.



As you can see I have a:

M40 Tunic

M37 Trousers

M38 Oakleaf A Camo Smock

East German jackboots

And what was going to be a Oak A Camo Field Cap ( 2nd Edition) wich they gave me some thing else.

And my next purchases will be:

repo Y-straps, Luger holster, Tanaka Luger, east german bread bag, mp44 mag pouches, east german suspenders, ss officer belt with buckle and a east german canteen.

You have a DOT 44 cap, also make sure your east german isn't made of vinyl. Why are you getting an officers belt/buckle when you aren't an officer?

The Dot hat is fantasy wear so I am told. I would go with a simple EM belt for your impression. Looking good RB. You should be all set for Op Mercury.

Dot caps are definately fantasy. I'd definately get an Oak cap, or even better, an M43 cap.
But it's a great start dude!

Dan, my unifrom has technical sergeant insignia(I need to put it on). A sergeant is a officer right? So would I still have a EM belt?

there were no tech sergeants in the germany army. And a sergeant is not an officer, they are non-coms.

That's a sergeant first class. Get the silver pip for the shoulder boards too. And yes, get an EM belt.
