I am a really big tank/assault gun junkie and am thinking about doing a stug commander/crewman impression. I doubt that there will be very many scenarios were it would make sense for a stug crewman to be wondering around the battlefield with no stug though. I have read from a few different sources that late in the war some infantry wore the grey wraps normally worn by the assault gun crews. If so, then when i needed to, i could swap out my cap for my stahlhelm and "voila", infantry impression. Is my information correct and if it is what do you guys think of this idea?

there are plenty of Americna tanker impressions, so I don't see why not a german one. Granted, I know there were some times the American tankers would have to demount to clear a building or somthing ( am I correct on that?). I'm not sure if the germans did that. But it's a neat idea!

God I love that tank. ;D Thanks for posting that.
In regards to a Stug crewman impression...do a crewman. Stay away from a commander impression. I'm sure the commander would not do too much along the lines of a normal schutze's duties. Just my 2 cents worth.
