Anyone know where I can get replacement stock screws for TM compatible Thompsons, King Arms specifically? My Thompson lost the screw closer to the pistol grip last game, and I rather not use it until I get another one.
Thanks!

So i removed the screw and rifled through all my assorted on hand screws and didn't have a match. I went to home depot to see if i could find a match but had no luck. A more specialized operation like Tacoma screw would but i ran out of time and had to depart for my current trip. Presently I am in Boston!

The manual states this to be a M6x25.

The thread is identical to the longer screw. You could probably take it in and source an appropriately shorter screw. often ACE Hardware has an excellent selection of bolts and screws. Flat heads however are getting harder and harder to source. (phillips head screws did exist during the war but were not used in arms production.

Flat head or not is pretty negligible for something that size and the position you're in. That really is something you only will notice upon CLOSE inspection (definitely not during combat, either).
Anyway, thanks for the help, gotta find an ACE hardware then. SCVNGR, thanks for that precise data. Its been years since I got this thing, I highly doubt I still have the manual flying around somewhere, haha.

ACE really might have what you need. I have had good luck in the past with their "helpful hardware men". Bring the ID code for the screw and the longer one to insure you're getting the right thread. (double check yours to make sure it is the right thread). Each of these manufacturers of thompsons might use different screws!
