I saw this at IMA and had to have it. They say it's a replica of a rare German Panzer Commander P08 shoulder holster (that's my Tanaka H.W. in there and it fits like a glove). I did a google search and I can't find any reference photos of this being worn in WW2. Anyone care to share an old photo of this being worn by a German?

Haven't heard about it before, but it could be a geniune item. IMA DO have some items that are a complete fantasy, so it's hard to be sure.

sorry for the necro post, but perhaps its for some of those Older Artillery model lugers with the longer barrels? www.oldrifles.com/german-pistols.htmonly thing similar i can find and it appears to be with a luger which is adapted for a shoulder stock. Dont know if thats any indication as to its time period, but just guessing.

Parabellum is mostly an officer weapon. It was not uncommon (still isn't) in any army for officers to purchase private holsters, or have such made by company riggers etc.
