I saw this at IMA and had to have it. They say it's a replica of a rare German Panzer Commander P08 shoulder holster (that's my Tanaka H.W. in there and it fits like a glove). I did a google search and I can't find any reference photos of this being worn in WW2. Anyone care to share an old photo of this being worn by a German?   |

Haven't heard about it before, but it could be a geniune item. IMA DO have some items that are a complete fantasy, so it's hard to be sure.

sorry for the necro post, but perhaps its for some of those Older Artillery model lugers with the longer barrels? www.oldrifles.com/german-pistols.htmonly thing similar i can find and it appears to be with a luger which is adapted for a shoulder stock. Dont know if thats any indication as to its time period, but just guessing. |

Parabellum is mostly an officer weapon. It was not uncommon (still isn't) in any army for officers to purchase private holsters, or have such made by company riggers etc.
