So I wasn't able to attend the Chicago game...yeah sucks but I did have some time to make some repro rations. Knackebrot: Cracker Bread (I used Wasa brand cracker bread) Frucht Stange "Schokolade Stuck": Fruit Bar (I used a south beach chocolate diet bar because I am diabetic) Rinderbraten: tin of roast beef. I think the can is too big but not by much. Fleischconserven: Preserved Meat (I used Underwoods Deviled Ham) * Not pictured ~ A packet of Ersatz Kaffee The bar is not wrapped as well as I would like but not bad. I tried that on my own and cannot wrap things right to save my life. My wife helped with the Knackebrot package and it looks alot better. I tinted the labels for the cans a grey blue color. I don't know that that is 100% correct but hope someone can tell me what color it should be. You can also see on the lables that I had some bleed through when I glued the lables on the cans. I should point out that I got the information to do these and the basic labels to tweak from another website: www.wiking.org/ Well let me know what you think and where maybe I could improve on this area.

Great touch and nicely done. Sorry you couldn't make the Chicago game. I have a feeling it's going to be a good one.

Those look good! One of the guys I play with made quite a few rations for the Long Winter game, definately gave it a nice touch. Takes awhile though

The labels on the cans are pretty close, if not perfect. A little less glue, I'd use the roll on elmers variety for most of my paperwork, and paper cement the sides to keep them down. Usualy works perfectly, with little to no bleed through.

Their labels compared to the originals at www.ostfront.com looks pretty spot on Mine that I made are pretty much just to keep from having a modern label on my cans...I can't seem to find to many actual war time representations of german labels alot of reproductions but without the actual labels people could sell anything.
