Hi all-
With my airborne impression complete (see pics from events), I've decided next to get a basic, vanilla late war Heer loadout. The main problem is, I am a small guy (36" chest, 30" waist) and I have yet to see a reasonably priced wool M43 tunic (I prefer the look of the M43) that is small enough for me. I've done some looking, and Gavin Militaria seems promising, but can someone with more experience with Kraut stuff give some pointers?

Do you know of any tailors or anyone that sews? Sizing down a larger garment is an easy thing to do. It shouldn't cost much at a tailor, but probably free if someone in the family knows.

Schuster.ru tailor makes uniforms. They are not too pricey for a tailor made uniform and mine is the best reproduction I have seen so far quality wise.

Thanks Aldrich! Do you know if they offer other things worth getting (field gear, insignia sewing, etc.)? Their uniforms look great, and they have them in my size!

I have never heard a bad thing about the quality of their items. I have only heard very good things. However, I have never seen any of their field gear, only their uniforms (both German and Russian and very high quality at that).

I'm basically the same size and ordered my uniforms from China(I know blasphemy) the smalls fit be fairly well from the big Chinese manufacturers, I'm 27" waist and a 35" chest I got an M36 officer's uniform from overseas, didn't require any tailoring.

Goodday mate. I am a small person as well, your exact measurements to be precise.
I got my tunic from Man The Line, (from what I am told he resells Gavin) A USA seller, good prices too. Got mine for bout 120 free ship.
