good job, I ve this idea few years ago but not time for it. With tag grenade it is awesome. I saw a friend at the last OP who made a prototype for his garand with classical 40mm shell.
I think I'll take time for it

Not sure what you,re shooting out of it? A rain of BBs or some sort of projectile? Even if you're not shooting anything it's definitely cool! Thanks for sharing!

I remember Roma a while back made a rifle grenade launcher that fired TAG pyrotechnic grenades. While expensive (and possibly illegal in some cities in the states,) it was certainly very cool and presumably worked much like this does. Powell, have you tried any grenade types other than the BB shower?

2nd bat and shiftysgarand - there is no BB's shower (cause it sucks!) or TAG grenades (gas-shells-grenades and spare parts for shells - so crazy expensive) there is pretty cheap sertified pyrotechnical ammo (with aluminium shell and projectile in it working on electrical ignition with black powder, grenade made with paper tube, waxlike mass on top, dried pease and small petard inside). Here is photo of this grenade. And this grenade i put inside this model of M17A1 signal grenade (on photo two Dyakonov grenade launchers) This project aims to create a fully working, easy to operate and visually authentical GL for airsoft reenacting.

Wow! Even cooler than I first imagined. What sort of range does it provide?

From 40 to 45 meters (130-150 feet) with 45 degrees angle. Explosion comes in 2-3 seconds after shot. Enough to hit target behind cover, small hill or bushes without being shot. Small mobile mortar and good rifle.

Very cool. Where are these grenades acquired? Did you make them yourself?

As mentioned I am not sure if they are legal to import them into the US which is a shame as they are very very cool.

If I converted currencies correctly they are also only about $3.50 each- much more reasonable than a TAG or really any other Airsoft grenade.

I think so - its not easy, or even more - impossible to import those grenades in US... And, yes - prise is near $3-4 dollars, and its REALLY cheap. 20-30 grenades for 1 game is not so expensive. When i will get all of these grenades and use them in game, i will do some video and send it right here!
