Any sources for upgrade parts for the Marushin Garand? I was considering dropping the cash to have a local guy reproduce them but would like to see if there are other sources. How is KIC Airsoft? A guy in 2011 on another page claimed it was good.

They are decent, they are based in Taiwan but ship pretty quickly. Their site is almost entirely in Chinese, but if you email them they will respond in understandable English. They don't have part 45 in stock last time I checked, so you will have to have that made, but the rest of the parts that fail can be sourced through them for not too bad prices.

I have checked with them last year, when my bolt died due to using WE winter green gas (slap myself), but no stock. So I had the part made from steel. As it was too heavy for hfc gas I made few cuts to lighten it a bit and works fine...for now?

Who did you go to for parts to be made? Thank you all for the information.

Sorry for delay, it is a tech guy from Czech Airsoft company Anareus (www.anareus.cz ). As far as I know he has already made several of them in the past for the other users here.

I'll second KIC as a reputable retailer: very quick responses to emails and in very good english (which is a bonus). I too have recently had a new part #45 machined as alas, they can no longer be found anywhere!

$85.20 to upgrade a gun that's probably gonna break in the first 100 shots isn't really worth it.
