Hello,
I just purchased a pair of Grigsby militaria Jackboots, I can only say that I am nothing but pleased with them. I did the Hot water trick and broke them in. Now the only little issue is the leather in some spots is a more rough than the boot, almost a\ little "Frilly" and dry. Is there anyway to repair that? I tried Neatsfeet leather oil but when it dries it just seems dry still. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
Franz

Get yourself some black Kiwi shoe polish and rub them down. Work the polish in real good. That will help keep the "frilliness" down.

Kiwi parade gloss is fantastic, its got a high beeswax content, its lovely stuff. keeps ur boots supple, and fairly waterproof
