A cool piece of kit. This heavily padded rifle case was designed to protect a paratroopers rifle during airborne operations. It held an M1 Garand in its two part disassembled state. Cool item for display and for transporting a real or airsoft M1 Garand. $65.00 plus $20.00 shipping in the US. In addition to being a nice carry case this item also makes a great ground pad and while they were typically discarded following a jump many paratroopers kept them with their snivel gear as a pad to keep them off the cold ground. Snipers are often seen dragging them along at a slow crawl and then lay motionless on them in position.
