There is a Facebook page depicting and constantly adding colorized formerly black and white pictures from WW2. I am now following it and am blown away by how good they are. Many classic and familiar pictures that take on new life. I didn't expect to like them as much as I do. Certainly shows why grit and grime are critical to a proper field impression.
