There's a place in Britain where you can drive around in "tanks" (really armored fighting vehicles), shooting paintballs at each other. The paintballs are ping pong balls filled with paint. Wouldn't want to get hit by one.

They'd never be able to do this in California without a horrendous insurance policy and a lawyer in every tank.
