I built this 1903 because I've always wanted to do it but I don't have the time to take it out and properly enjoy it. I bought the S&T M1903A3 base from SfcMigs. He had these upgrades installed: 1)Action Army zero trigger box (VSR-10) installed. 2)Stainless Steel Spring guide 3)Stainless Steel Cylinder and nozzle cylinder head with teflon coating. 4)150 Spring. I did the following: 1) Installed 1903 sight base (reproduction), 1905 ladder sight (real), lower/upper bands (real), handguard (real) - The sight base cut is a little crude, but the next owner can easily fill the gap between the base and stock with wood putty and cover it up. In any event, you have deliberately look down past the wood line to see it. 2) Installed a set screw in the handguard for hop-up adjustment 3) Epoxied the two piece stock together to make the rifle solid From what I can see the BBs seem to fly straight and true for quite a while. I haven't had a chance to skirmish it but I'm certain that it is a much better rifle than my last VSR-based M1903A3. It will come with two magazines but not the sling in the pictures. If the buyer desires a sling I will include a Kerr reproduction for $20. My asking price is $500 plus shipping Thanks, Mitchell
