I'm putting together a Gebirgsjager impression for Milsim West's 1945 event; nothing super authentic, just minimal and as low cost as possible with these kinds of things. (We'll see how well that goes ) So as not to be a white snowflake, literally, alongside my comaraden, I'm going to omit the white coveralls and even the anorak. So far I have arguably the two most difficult and distinct things for my impression:

G33/40 replica by Tanaka Works; the motivation behind my impression to begin with.

Repro Mountain Boots with hobnails $150/$190 shipped, not bad I think looking at how much other pairs go for.

Browsing around, Hiki Militaria seems to be my one stop shop solution. Anyone have experience ordering from them?

The word on Hikshop is that they are really slow to respond and to ship. Highly unlikely you would get your stuff in time for the event.

The last time I ordered from Hikishop, about 3-4 months ago, it took about three weeks to arrive.
