A quick question: For those who normally wear prescription glasses, have you bought safety glasses in your prescription? If so what was the brand and where did you buy them? I have come across a couple brands but unsure of the quality. I unfortunately can no longer wear contact lenses with regular safety glasses because of problems with dry eyes.

Personally I am looking to ESS CDI with insert because I can order the lenses to my optometrist. I can't order directly because they will accept only a US prescription. China copies are unfortunately trash. I hope this helps.

After looking into a variety of options, I went and got contact lenses that I use pretty much just for airsoft. Prior to this, I did get the ESS inserts. I had to mod them to fit with my Turbofans though. I was happy with the performance and the fit.

HI, Just an update of the ESS CDI inserts - plastic support broke when testing at 3 Joules from close proximity. Not something you will enclose in regular airsoft game - but definitely not the safest solution afterward. The Polycarbonate lens was completely unaffected, but the support failed.

Thanks for the heads up, I will try to find different prescription safety glasses other than the RX CDI inserts then.
Best,
A.J.
