What did the Germans use to make white camo for their helmets. I have wanted to do that for a long time.

The Germans used whatever they could find to make the white wash , i myself use plaster of paris thinned out and give the helmet a few coats with about 30 minutes between coats to allow them to dry. White wash is good cause you can remove it when the snow melts , and you are back to the original camo pattern you had on the helmet.

Cool, that line up of helmets looks just like the one of FJR6 at Normandy , the gang really did a great job.

I painted the green stripes. Thank Schmmity for the paint. I think we did a total of 10 helmets today.

I wish you could have made it up. Sorry about the ride not working out. You missed building your schemmel. We used dirt to texture them. I also think they turned out well and will get everyone looking the same.
OT: I have your MP40 and pouches from Greg.

Tight. I wish they would fold down or something such a big piece to fit in the trunk. I also got my Kar98 today.
/\ But we are off topic. Back to FJ helmets and how cool they are. /\
