This came up on YouTube. "Çanakkale Yolun Sonu - Türk Filmi". According to Google Translate, "The End of Canakkale Road." It's set in the Dardanelles. The entire movie is available, but the only captions they have are when the English/ANZACs are speaking and their dialogue is translated to Turkish. From watching the trailer it appears that the movie involves Turkish sniper and an Australian sniper. Just watched the trailer and the opening sequences. In the scenes where the British forces are landing I realized most of the Turks are shooting...03A3 Springfields. The Australians' hats looked a little odd. They're actually German WWI African Schutztruppe hats. Similar to the Australian "Digger" hat, but with white pipping around the brim, which Australians didn't have. The white piping apparently identified the German East Africa schutztruppe. And in one scene an officer is shooting a Walther P-38. So, the props department gets a C-. Also, the "SMLE's" the ANZACs are using are something else made up to look like SMLE's. Not sure what they are. Hard to get a good look, but the bolt handles are in the wrong place and there's an extra barrel band, and they're missing the stripper clip guide on the receiver. Still, kinda interesting to see Gallipoli from the Turkish side. www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3JXM-O3tUg&t=290s
