Some Googling learned me that this was some kind of para military organisation to protect certain company's during war. I also know that they were used in a lot of campaigns all over the world. (even in my own country, Belgium) Now, I've used the "search" and nothing seems to pop up on this forum. So my question is if anyone has some experience with assembling this type of uniform? The uniform has to go with an MP40 though... And would this uniform be a good start?  Problem is I can't find what type of gear (suspenders, canteens, ...) they were using. |

Are you looking for info on the "Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse"? wich was part of the Armed Forces of the DDR?
Or for info on WWII Kampfgruppen?

Well, the depicted uniform is DDR I think. But I was actually aiming on a WWII outfit. I don't know if the DDR uniform would be correct though. Any info is welcome!  |

Thats definately a DDR uniform, and would not be correct. Uniform, webgear, etc. was all different.

A DDRs NVA uniform is good to have , i have 2 myself , plus a "Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse" uniform that i have to dig up from my storage containers

As far as putting together a WWII Kampfgruppen uniform you'll need:
M40 Heer jacket
Trousers
M42 helmet
Heer belt and Buckle
MP40 ammo pouches (Green)
either jack boots or low boots with gaiters
Heer green breadbag
canteen
suspenders
gas mask container

As far as putting together a WWII Kampfgruppen uniform you'll need: M40 Heer jacket Trousers M42 helmet Heer belt and Buckle MP40 ammo pouches (Green) either jack boots or low boots with gaiters Heer green breadbag canteen suspenders gas mask container Hey, thanks, this is useful list. This is pretty much all the basic gear you need. Allthough I have a few questions: - the suspenders: those are the black leather Y-suspenders you talk about, right? - the M40 jacket, is this the correct type?  Thanks in advance! |
