I have perhaps 20 reproduction M41s. (i don't need but perhaps 8). Widely assorted sizes assorted suppliers.
$45.00 each shipped here in the lower 48. Buy several and use them as costume loaners!

Who manufactured most of them? At the Front? SOF? WWII Impressions?

A wide assortment of manufacturers. Some are just civilian jackets that clearly were modeled after the M41. Under web gear they are indistinguishable. Some are commercial reproductions. For me they were ideal as rental costumes but I just have accumulated more than I typically ever need. I am shipping six complete GI costumes to Historical Milsim up in Vermont for his WW2 events along with six Kraut costumes.

In examining them more closely I would say most are the current mix of Chinese offerings. There are no markings just a white size tag on the blanket liner. Sizes range from 38R to 48R. I just sent off 8 of the civilian style look alikes to a game sponsor up in Vermont who mostly does Vietnam events but wantz to expand into WW2. He has an amazing venue 200 plus acres that includes and old rock quary but buts up against a 2000 acre nature preserve. He bas vehicles and a half dozen GP medium tents a fire base and fortifications on the site.
