Many of the Shermans lined up on the dikes were plastic shells on VW bus chassis. I wonder whatever happened to them all? If you look very very closely you can spot them off in the distances. The close in tanks of course were all real. They had moving tracks that didnt quite touch the ground.

I just remembered. I went to college in Spokane (Gonzaga U.). We used to go down to Pullman and Moscow for rifle matches. There was some little down on the way down that had a Sherman tank as a memorial. Unfortunately we never stopped to take a closer look. No idea what the name of the town was.
