Hello ,my ICS garand only fires full auto,as i believe it has no mechanical semi auto mechanism, semi auto is controled by the mosfet so the mosfet must surely be faulty? if this is the case will a new mosfet most likely get my semi auto back or could it be another problem,i am only using a 7.4 v 1300mh lipo battery. The new ics mosfet is very reasonably priced i was surprised.
please help thanks

I bought a used ICS M1 a couple years back that had a problem with firing full auto. I found a YouTube video that said it was caused by the trigger transfer bar coming loose. I tightened it up and that seemed to fix it. Of course, now I can't find the video, but I found another on the disassembling the ICS M1. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8Ii2oqhAPoHe takes off the trigger transfer bar at 2:20. You might check and see if it's real loose and tighten up the screws. Might have nothing to do with it, but it costs nothing to check it.

Hi many thanks for that, done some more research and i think it does have a trigger switch and cutoff lever inside the gearbox,i had assumed it was like a TM version 7 gearbox where the trigger ,switch and cut off lever are on the outside of the gearbox,as they are not visible in this video i assumed semi auto was done with a mosfet. But this is totally different gearbox i have not seen before. Just doing a bit of re-search before i jump in and and tear it down.Luckily a shop locally to me can order any part for an ICS gun down to the last screw, which is better service than with some other makes i won't name.
