Hello, I am newer to airsoft than most of you (Only got into it a few years ago but haven't attended events yet due to location) and am trying to get a good Low Capacity (Preferably 8 BB's) Gas-Blow back M1 Garand, The one that I've seen the best reviews for are the Marushin M1 Garand 8mm but can't seem to find them anywhere and was wondering if anyone know where to get one for a good price (Below $600 US) or another good Low Capacity Gas-Blow back M1 Garand for a good price.

The Marushin is the only gas blow back M1 Garand and is the only available real capacity offering (8 rounds). It also features the ejecting clip which replicates the actual rifle very well. I owned two of them and have to say for the brief period they were operational they were awesome. To keep them functioal there is a litany of screw and bolt tightening, lubrication and on going care required. Most all ended up broken and non functional hence its hard to find functional used ones. With the introduction of the far far more reliable and durable electric Garands and the Marushins deserved reputation for mechanical issues the product found an increasingly smaller and smaller demand. Later models were somewhat more reliable than the ones I bought but even the later models could rarely withstand the rigors of over 500 to 1000 rounds before they broke. My AEG ICS and S&T M1 Garands have in excess of 10,000 rounds each and show no sign of failing. My best guess is your best bet would be Japanese airsoft site where the gun probably hung on a wall and was seldom fired. The concept was fabulous, the execution a nightmare. Good luck in your search. Welcome to the site. Spend some time in some of the old old threads on the Marushin M1 Garand and read the many tales of woe. The gun you will see also had a corp of loyal advocates as well.

Thank you for the links, And I had heard the problems about the screws, But not about them actually breaking after such short use, That is very nice to know. I lost the website for a short bit so sorry for the late response.
