Yes I have seen replacement gear boxes come up on Ebay from time to time and some of the larger airsoft outlets usually have repair/ replacement parts. Evike, Airsoft Megastore, airsoft GI. I'm not sure what version gearbox was used but knowing that would be the key.

I have a AGM MP40 with jammed gearbox / action ,is it possible to buy a replacement gearbox and action. judging from your description of the failure - you know very little about the BB guns... The majority of tge gearbox internals are more or less intechangeable with something else.. Solution - give it to somebody who knows what is wrong and very likely he ll be able to repair the gun without any unobtanium parts. Only case when you might have some troubles is cracked gearbox - but still possible to source - but maybe costy...

gearbox jam (ie battery plugged in, on fire, trigger pull does nothing or makes a little noise (the moter tries to turn) but doesnt function) I would try, (pull trigger to check function after each step) 1. switching the selector back and forth a few times, try again. 2. unplug and replug the battery. 3.FULLY CHARGE THE BATTERY* plug in and try. 4.Seek assistance (IE follow Rullow's advice above. Or start googling, watching youtubes, etc.)
*Are you using the battery that came with gun? Or a LIPO battery? regardless, GB jam can happen often if the battery is low or bad. I have had this a few times. Possibly the low battery helped the gearbox get locked in just the right spot. In that case, sometimes attaching a more powerful battery can deliver the oomph needed. Find an 11.4 (or around that) battery and connect it.

Trying a different / new battery might be the first step. Sometimes if a battery is bad, it will not hold energy regardless how much you are charging it. Lipo and NiMh can broke. On the other hand, the internal parts for this GB are compatible with GB Version 3 (I mean gears, piston, not sure if contact etc.) If you have some time you can disassembly and re-build this. It is not very complicated. Someone is showing how here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YgEvV2Btlg Good luck.
