The ad uses pictures of actual Okinawa Boots but in fact what they ship have nothing to do with the photos. They do the same with an add for WW2 style Double Buckle boots where they show actual WW2 Double buckle Boots. They aren't absolutely horrible but they are definitely not the quality of assorted replica WW2 boots or the Moore Militaria replica Okinawa Boots which are quite good. I bought a pair of each and they took a long time to arrive. They had little weight, I doubt the leather was indeed leather and the soles weren't anything like the originals. An actual pair of Okinawa boots can bring 1200.00 to 2,000.00 and a good pair of WW2 double buckles in a decent size easily $200. I think these were $37.00 Shipped? Hence really really inexpensive. They were about what I expected. No better and no worse. I redid the soles of both which improved them considerably and still have the WW2 double buckles. For the pseudo "Okinawa Boots" I did some cosmetic work, (I Dyed the canvas a more correct shade) and likewise dyed the "leather" to be more correct looking and eventually sold them on Ebay with lots of pictures. I think they brought $50.00 plus shipping so not a particular deal for anyone. The fellow who received them seemed happy with them so there is that? I wore my pair of double buckles this past weekend and they were comfortable and held up fine. I frankly like that they are super light weight as I'm not going on a 20 mile forced march. I strongly doubt they would survive such a thing! Cheap cheap boots but they do approximate the look without breaking the bank.
